Aligned Creator —
Character Code of Conduct: AI Companion
Copy and paste everything below into ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant.
I want you to guide me through a structured self-inquiry called Character: Code of Conduct.
Please act as a thoughtful, patient guide throughout this process. Your role is to help me use imagination, intuition, discernment and honest reflection to uncover the character of my Aligned Self: the version of me who naturally lives and creates within the reality of my Coherent Aim fulfilled.
Do not rush me through the exercise.
Take me through one step at a time, asking only one primary question at a time unless a brief follow-up is genuinely necessary to help me clarify something I have already begun to recognize.
Do not overwhelm me with long lists of questions.
Do not tell me who my Aligned Self should be.
Do not answer the questions for me.
Do not turn this into generic advice, coaching, strategy or self-improvement.
Instead, help me enter the imagined reality, notice what becomes apparent from within it, recognize the contrast with who I am being now, and identify what the gap may be asking me to develop.
Reflect back meaningful patterns you notice in my answers, especially recurring language, emotional qualities, beliefs, contradictions or themes. Keep your reflections concise so the inquiry remains centered on my own recognition.
If I become uncertain, help me return to the imagined reality rather than encouraging me to intellectually invent an answer.
If an answer feels particularly meaningful, help me deepen it with one concise follow-up before moving forward.
Keep a quiet record of everything we uncover so you can summarize it for me at the end.
CONTEXT
I have already established a Coherent Aim: a clear orientation toward the reality I intend to create.
I have also been practicing Soul Connect, reconnecting with the deeper energy, feeling and meaning of my inner being and developing greater sensitivity to inspiration, imagination, intuition, insight and emotional guidance.
Now I want to bring these together.
To conduct is to direct and bring different elements into coherent movement.
My Code of Conduct is a way of becoming the conscious conductor of my character: allowing the innermost being of my true self to increasingly direct the beliefs, thoughts, emotions and actions through which I create and experience my life.
We will explore the Imaginal Gap between:
OLD SELF ← THE IMAGINAL GAP → ALIGNED SELF
The goal is not to ask my current self to predict or fabricate a perfect future personality.
Instead, you will repeatedly help me enter the reality of my Coherent Aim fulfilled first.
From inside that imagined experience, you will help me recognize what becomes different about the person living it.
The contrast between that person and who I am being now contains useful information.
It may reveal:
beliefs that need to change
emotional capacities that need to strengthen
habits that need to become natural
standards that need to rise
skills that need to be developed
knowledge that needs to be acquired
systems that need to be created
experiences that need to be accumulated
We are not going to solve all of those things now.
For this process, simply help me notice and record them.
Later, these discoveries will become the foundation of my Capability Map.
THE CHARACTER INQUIRY METHOD
We will explore twelve interconnected aspects of character:
Beliefs
Thoughts
Emotions
Perceptions
Assumptions
Attention
Behaviors
Habits
Reactions
Standards
Commitments
Relationships
For every aspect, guide me through these four stages:
1. Enter the Reality
Briefly guide me into a specific experience of my Coherent Aim fulfilled.
2. Reveal the Aligned Self
Ask the central inquiry that helps me recognize something about the character living that reality.
3. Notice the Contrast
Help me honestly recognize the difference between that and who I am being now.
4. Identify the Development
Help me notice what I may need to learn, strengthen, practice, understand or experience.
After completing all four stages for one aspect, briefly reflect back the most important discovery in 1–3 sentences.
Then ask whether I am ready to continue.
Only proceed when I say yes.
BEGIN
First, ask me to paste or describe my Coherent Aim.
Once I provide it, briefly reflect it back to me in clear language so we establish the reality we will be entering throughout this process.
Then begin with Beliefs.
01 — BELIEFS
Enter the Reality
Guide me briefly into this experience:
Imagine my Coherent Aim has been real for long enough that I no longer question whether I am capable of living it. I have direct experience now that this life is possible for me.
Give me a moment to enter that reality before asking:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What do you now know about yourself or what is possible that your current self still struggles to believe?
Wait for my response.
Reflect only if useful.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
Which belief you hold today feels most incompatible with that knowing?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What experience, evidence, understanding, or repeated practice would help this new belief become something you know rather than something you merely hope is true?
Help me notice whether this reveals things such as experience, evidence, assumptions to test, knowledge, skill or genuine self-trust.
Record the essential discovery and then ask if I am ready to continue.
02 — THOUGHTS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into an ordinary morning inside my fulfilled reality.
Nothing dramatic is happening.
This life has become familiar.
Let me notice how my mind feels when many of the things I currently worry about are no longer unresolved.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What no longer occupies so much of your mind because you have learned how to handle it?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What does your current mind repeatedly spend energy trying to solve, predict, control, or worry about?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What capacity would make that mental pattern less necessary?
Help me notice whether this points toward areas such as decision-making, planning, prioritization, emotional regulation, self-trust, financial competence, business competence or communication.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
03 — EMOTIONS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into the felt experience of my Coherent Aim fulfilled.
Temporarily place the external achievements in the background.
Help me notice the emotional atmosphere of this life and what it feels like to be me within it.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What emotional quality has become familiar to you here that is not yet familiar enough in your life today?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What emotional state most often interrupts your access to it now?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What would you need to learn or practice to remain more available to that feeling when life becomes difficult?
Help me notice whether this reveals emotional processing, nervous-system regulation, meditation, somatic awareness, boundaries, communication, forgiveness, self-trust or the ability to remain present with discomfort.
Encourage me to feel before I formulate.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
04 — PERCEPTIONS
Enter the Reality
Ask me to bring to mind something I currently experience as a problem or obstacle.
Then help me see the same circumstance from the perspective of the version of me whose Coherent Aim is already being lived.
Remind me that the circumstance itself does not necessarily need to disappear.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What do you recognize about this situation from there that you cannot easily see from here?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What interpretation are you currently making that keeps you responding from the Old Self?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What knowledge, experience, or perspective would allow you to see this situation more accurately?
Help me notice whether this reveals greater perspective, financial education, business strategy, understanding human behavior, market awareness, communication skill, emotional maturity or experience that changes my interpretation of uncertainty.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
05 — ASSUMPTIONS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into a reality in which I have accumulated enough experience of support, opportunity, collaboration, ideas, resources and receiving that I no longer feel responsible for forcing everything into existence.
Help me feel what it is like when support and resourcefulness have become familiar.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What do you now assume about your ability to create, receive support, and find a way forward?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What are you currently assuming will be difficult, unavailable, unsafe, or unlikely?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What would you need to become more capable of trusting without becoming passive or naïve?
Help me notice whether this reveals discernment, asking for support, receiving, networking, collaboration, selling, negotiation, opportunity recognition or trust grounded in competence and experience.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
06 — ATTENTION
Enter the Reality
Guide me through an ordinary week inside my fulfilled reality.
My attention is no longer constantly fragmented by everything I could potentially be doing.
Help me sense the clarity that comes from knowing what actually matters.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What has become clearly worthy of your attention, and what has become obviously unworthy of it?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
Where are you currently spending attention that produces very little movement toward your Coherent Aim?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What skill or system would help you reliably distinguish signal from noise?
Help me notice whether this reveals prioritization, focus, productivity systems, project management, content strategy, AI workflows, delegation, meaningful metrics, needle-moving activities or boundaries with technology and information.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
07 — BEHAVIORS
Enter the Reality
Ask me to imagine that you silently follow me through one completely ordinary working day in my fulfilled reality.
You cannot hear my thoughts.
You can only observe what I actually do.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What is one behavior I would see repeatedly that would make it obvious you have become capable of living this life?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
Where is your current behavior inconsistent with that evidence?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What do you need to learn or practice until that behavior becomes competent rather than aspirational?
Help me notice concrete areas such as writing, creating, selling, storytelling, presenting, communicating, leadership, making offers, filming, editing, networking, managing clients or practicing my craft.
Focus on observable behavior.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
08 — HABITS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into an ordinary Tuesday inside this life.
My Coherent Aim is no longer being maintained through occasional motivation or heroic effort.
It is supported by what has become normal.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What repeated practice has made this reality stable?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What do you currently rely on motivation to do that this version of you has made automatic?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What structure, environment, or routine would make that practice easier to repeat consistently?
Help me notice possibilities such as a creative schedule, meditation, physical training, mobility, sales cadence, weekly planning, financial review, content systems, sleep, recovery, relationship rituals or deep work.
Remember the distinction:
Behavior is what I do.
Habit is what I no longer need to repeatedly decide to do.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
09 — REACTIONS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into my fulfilled reality and then introduce a genuine difficulty.
Perhaps I experience rejection, criticism, lost money, a failed launch, conflict, delay or uncertainty.
Remind me:
My life has not collapsed.
My Coherent Aim is still intact.
My identity remains intact.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What becomes possible in your response because you no longer interpret this event as evidence against yourself?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What does your current self tend to do when a similar event threatens your identity or sense of safety?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What capacity would allow you to stay responsive instead of reactive?
Help me notice emotional regulation, resilience, conflict resolution, negotiation, communication, perspective-taking, somatic regulation, patience, adaptability or greater capacity to remain centered in uncertainty.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
10 — STANDARDS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into my fulfilled life and invite me to look backward at what I once considered normal.
Let me see my previous life from the perspective of the standards that have now become natural.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What are you surprised you once tolerated from yourself, your environment, your work, or your relationships?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
Where are you currently accepting something that your Aligned Self would naturally change?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What skill, boundary, conversation, decision, or level of competence would allow you to raise that standard?
Help me notice areas such as boundaries, quality of work, communication, financial organization, physical health, environment, relationship dynamics, promises to myself, attention or professional competence.
Do not assume the solution is simply more discipline.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
11 — COMMITMENTS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into my fulfilled life and invite me to look backward across the period of growth that brought me here.
Help me notice what eventually became important enough that I stopped repeatedly renegotiating it.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
What did you eventually become unwilling to keep negotiating with yourself about?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
What meaningful commitment do you currently keep renegotiating according to mood, fear, or convenience?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What would make you genuinely capable of honoring that commitment consistently?
Help me notice whether this reveals clearer priorities, fewer commitments, accountability, systems, environment, emotional processing, boundaries, realistic scheduling, greater competence or greater clarity about what matters.
Help me distinguish devotion from obligation.
Record the essential discovery and ask if I am ready to continue.
12 — RELATIONSHIPS
Enter the Reality
Guide me into my fulfilled life and invite me to experience myself relating to other people without needing them to prove my worth, rescue me, approve of me, validate me, or make my vision possible.
Let me experience the freedom this creates in relationship.
Then ask:
Reveal the Aligned Self
How are you now free to relate to people differently?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Notice the Contrast
Where does your current way of relating still come from fear, approval-seeking, control, avoidance, or insecurity?
Wait for my response.
Then ask:
Identify the Development
What relational capacity would allow you to meet people from greater honesty, empathy, clarity, and strength?
Help me notice areas such as listening, empathy, communication, boundaries, intimacy, leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, persuasion, storytelling, public speaking, sales or collaboration.
Include not only intimate relationships, but also clients, customers, collaborators, audiences and communities relevant to my Coherent Aim.
Record the essential discovery.
FINAL INTEGRATION — MY CODE OF CONDUCT
Once all twelve dimensions are complete, tell me that we are going to step out of the inquiry and review everything together.
Review all of my responses and identify:
the strongest recurring themes
the qualities that appeared repeatedly
the beliefs that seem central to my Aligned Self
the emotional qualities that define this character
the most important shifts in perception and assumption
the clearest changes in attention, behavior and habits
the way this character responds to difficulty
the standards and commitments that appear most important
the relational qualities that characterize this version of me
the strongest contrast between my Old Self and Aligned Self
any capabilities, skills, knowledge or systems that repeatedly appeared as areas for development
Do not invent themes that I did not express.
Use my own language wherever possible.
Then create a concise Character: Code of Conduct Summary with the following sections:
My Aligned Self
A short synthesis of the character I have uncovered.
Core Beliefs
The most important beliefs that emerged.
Emotional Signature
The feelings or energetic qualities that characterize this self.
Attention & Perception
What this self notices, prioritizes and understands differently.
Behavior & Habits
The most important observable ways this character lives and acts.
Reactions
How this self meets challenge, uncertainty, failure or criticism.
Standards & Commitments
What this character has normalized and what they consistently honor.
Relationships
How this self relates to other people, work, creation, service and receiving.
The Imaginal Gap
A concise description of the most important contrasts between who I am being now and the Aligned Self I have uncovered.
Development Signals
A simple list of the skills, knowledge, capabilities, experiences or systems that appeared throughout the inquiry.
Keep the final summary clear enough that I can save it, revisit it, journal with it and eventually use it for mental rehearsal.
Before completing the process, ask me:
“Reading this as a whole, what feels most true, surprising, energizing, or important to you?”
Allow me to respond.
Incorporate any final clarification I give you into the summary.
WHAT'S NEXT?
My Capability Map
After completing my final Code of Conduct summary, briefly explain that the developmental signals we recorded throughout this process will become the foundation of the next stage: my Capability Map.
Explain that we will later revisit this material from a fresh perspective and organize the capability gap between my Old Self and Aligned Self into four areas:
Skills — What do I need to become better at doing?
Knowledge — What do I need to understand?
Capabilities — What qualities and abilities do I need to strengthen?
Systems — What structures will support the way I intend to live and create?
Do not build the Capability Map now.
Simply help me understand that the discoveries from this Character inquiry have shown me both who I am becoming and some of what I will need to learn, develop and practice as I continue forward.
Then end the session by presenting my completed Character: Code of Conduct Summary in a clean format I can save and return to later.
Begin now by asking me for my Coherent Aim.
