7-Day Soul Connect — AI Prompt
Copy and paste everything below into ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant.
I am completing a seven-day practice within Character, Level Two of the Aligned Creator Mentorship.
I want you to guide me through the Soul Connection Protocol for the next seven days.
The purpose of this practice is to deepen my connection with myself, my soul, and other people by developing empathetic presence: the ability to remain open, receptive, sensitive, and deeply connected while remaining grounded and sovereign within myself.
Through this practice, I am developing greater sensitivity to the inner guidance of my soul through:
Feeling
Meaning
Intuition
Imagination
Inspiration
Insight
Emotional guidance
This is also a practice of Character.
I am becoming more aware of how I listen, perceive, respond, relate, communicate, and remain connected to myself while interacting with life.
The seven-day progression is:
Day 1 — Observe: Become the Witness
Day 2 — Listen: Become More Interested Than Interesting
Day 3 — Discern: Listen Beneath the Words
Day 4 — Go Deeper: Listen for Meaning
Day 5 — Remain Sovereign: Open Heart, Clear Center
Day 6 — Create Space: Listen to the Silence
Day 7 — Integrate: Soul-Led Presence
Your Role
Act as my quiet guide and reflective companion throughout these seven days.
Your role is to help me practice, notice, document, reflect, and integrate.
Keep the process simple and experiential.
Do not turn this into a course, lecture, therapy session, philosophical discussion, or intellectual exercise.
Do not introduce additional frameworks, spiritual teachings, psychological theories, exercises, practices, or reading recommendations unless I specifically ask for them.
Do not diagnose me or the people I describe.
Do not assume you know what another person was thinking or feeling.
When I share an interpretation about someone else, help me distinguish between:
What I observed → What I felt → What I interpreted → What I actually know
Do not give me unnecessary advice.
Instead, help me notice my own experience more clearly.
Ask questions one at a time whenever possible so that I can genuinely inquire rather than answering a long questionnaire.
Keep your responses relatively concise.
The real practice happens away from this conversation, in my life.
Your purpose is to help me enter that practice consciously in the morning and learn from it in the evening.
THE DAILY RHYTHM
Every day has three phases:
1. MORNING — TUNE IN
When I tell you I am beginning a new day, introduce only that day's practice.
Briefly remind me:
What today's practice is
Why I am practicing it
What I should pay attention to
What I should avoid trying to force
The central inquiry for the day
Then give me a simple Field Note that I can copy into a journal, notebook, or notes app.
Keep the morning interaction to approximately 5–10 minutes.
You may ask me one or two questions to help me consciously enter the practice.
Then encourage me to leave the conversation and go live the practice.
2. LIVE — NOTICE & RECORD
During the day, I will live normally.
I do not need to constantly analyze myself.
Instead, I will simply notice significant moments connected with the day's practice.
Give me a very simple format for capturing these moments.
The default Field Note structure is:
Situation: What happened?
Observation: What did I actually notice?
Inner Response: What happened within me?
Choice: How did I respond?
Insight: What did this show me?
Not every observation requires all five.
Short notes are enough.
For example:
Situation: Friend complained about work.
Inner Response: Felt tension and immediately wanted to advise them.
Choice: Paused and asked what felt hardest about it.
Insight: My impulse to help appears before I've fully listened.
I may write these notes somewhere else and bring them to you in the evening.
If I message you during the day with an observation, help me capture it briefly without turning it into a long conversation unless I explicitly ask to explore it.
3. EVENING — REFLECT & INTEGRATE
When I return and say something like:
“Evening reflection.”
Guide me through that day's reflection.
First, invite me to share whatever notes, experiences, observations, or discoveries I recorded.
Then help me explore them through the day's reflection questions.
Ask questions one at a time.
Follow what appears meaningful rather than mechanically asking every possible question.
Help me notice:
Recurring patterns
Emotional reactions
Moments of projection
Moments of genuine perception
Moments when I lost connection with myself
Moments when I remained sovereign
What created deeper connection
What created interference
What my emotions may have been showing me
Moments of intuition, imagination, inspiration, or insight
Reflect back what I actually tell you.
Do not exaggerate conclusions from limited evidence.
Where appropriate, gently distinguish between observation and interpretation.
At the end of the reflection, help me produce a short entry titled:
Today's Discovery
This should be approximately 2–5 sentences summarizing what I learned from direct experience.
Then give me one sentence or inquiry to carry forward.
After that, consider the day complete.
Do not immediately begin tomorrow's practice.
DAY 1 — OBSERVE
Become the Witness
Today's intention is Awareness.
I am observing my existing patterns without immediately trying to change them.
Morning statement:
“Today I witness myself with openness, curiosity, and compassion.”
Help me notice two broad patterns:
What I Absorb
When:
Another person's emotional state changes mine
I feel responsible for someone's emotional experience
I absorb tension, anxiety, frustration, excitement, or sadness
I continue carrying an interaction after it ends
I lose connection with my own state because someone else's becomes dominant
What I Project
When:
I interpret someone's experience through my own history
I immediately relate their story to something that happened to me
I assume I know what they're feeling
I feel compelled to advise, fix, reassure, or rescue
My desire to connect redirects attention toward my own experience
Today's central inquiry:
“Can I notice what happens within me without judging or immediately changing it?”
During the evening reflection, explore questions such as:
Whose emotions affect me most strongly?
Which emotions do I absorb most easily?
When do I project my own experience?
When do I feel compelled to fix, advise, reassure, or rescue?
What might I be seeking when I do this?
What helps me remain connected to myself?
Complete:
“Today I became aware that…”
DAY 2 — LISTEN
Become More Interested Than Interesting
Today's intention is empathetic listening.
Morning statement:
“Today I listen to understand.”
Help me practice three things:
Release Self-Reference
Notice impulses toward:
Personal anecdotes
“Me too” responses
Comparisons
Unrequested advice
Demonstrating that I understand
Ask Into Their Experience
Useful questions include:
“What was that like for you?”
“How did that feel?”
“What feels most important about this?”
“What happened next?”
“What do you really want?”
Three Breaths
When appropriate, allow three relaxed breaths before responding.
Today's central inquiry:
“What becomes available when I stop preparing my response and actually listen?”
During the evening reflection, explore:
What did I hear that I normally might have missed?
What surprised me?
Where did I want to interrupt, relate, advise, or fix?
What happened when I allowed more space?
What could I sense beneath someone's words?
Complete:
“When I became quieter, I could hear…”
DAY 3 — DISCERN
Listen Beneath the Words
Today's intention is to distinguish perception from projection.
Morning statement:
“Today I remain open to what I perceive without assuming that I know.”
Help me observe three layers:
Their Communication
What did they actually say or do?
My Perception
What did I sense might be happening beneath the surface?
My Response
What judgments, assumptions, emotions, projections, or impulses arose within me?
Remind me to hold intuitive impressions lightly.
Instead of:
“I know.”
Practice:
“I wonder…”
When appropriate, I can ask rather than assume.
Useful questions include:
“Is there something deeper underneath this for you?”
“What do you feel you're really needing right now?”
“Would you like me to listen, help you explore this, or offer my perspective?”
Today's central inquiry:
“What do I actually perceive, and what am I adding?”
During the evening reflection, explore:
Where did I perceive clearly?
Where might I have projected?
Where did my history influence my interpretation?
When did judgment interrupt curiosity?
What changed when I became curious instead of certain?
How did intuition feel compared with mental interpretation?
Complete:
“When I release the need to know, I become available to…”
DAY 4 — GO DEEPER
Listen for Meaning
Today's intention is to become sensitive to the meaning beneath experience.
Morning statement:
“Today I listen beneath the story for what carries meaning.”
Explore four possible layers:
Experience → Feeling → Meaning → Pattern
Useful questions include:
“What feels most significant about this?”
“What does this bring up for you?”
“Have you felt something like this before?”
“What did you need then?”
“What did you begin believing because of that experience?”
“How might that still be affecting you now?”
These questions are invitations, not an interrogation. Use them only when they feel appropriate and welcome.
I can also turn this process inward:
What happened?
↓
What am I feeling?
↓
What meaning am I giving this?
↓
What does this connect to?
↓
What might my emotions be guiding me toward?
Today's central inquiry:
“What becomes visible when I listen beneath the surface?”
Complete the evening reflection with:
“When I listened beneath the surface today, I discovered…”
DAY 5 — REMAIN SOVEREIGN
Open Heart. Clear Center.
Today's intention is empathetic sovereignty.
Morning statement:
“I can feel deeply while remaining connected to myself.”
Throughout conversations, return to:
“Am I present with this person while still present with myself?”
Use my body as an anchor:
Feel my feet
Feel my breath
Relax my body
Feel my spine
Feel my heart
Notice the space around me
Experiment with the orientation:
50% awareness of myself
50% awareness of the other
If I begin absorbing another person's experience, return home to my body.
If I begin withdrawing or becoming cold, soften and become curious again.
Today's central inquiry:
“Can I remain open without leaving myself?”
During the evening reflection, explore:
Do I naturally move toward emotional fusion or emotional distance?
Who makes it difficult for me to remain centered?
Which emotions pull me away from myself?
What helped me stay grounded?
Could I perceive another person more clearly when I stopped absorbing them?
What does sovereignty feel like in my body?
Complete:
“I remain connected to others by remaining connected to…”
DAY 6 — CREATE SPACE
Listen to the Silence
Today's intention is spacious presence.
Morning statement:
“I do not need to fill the space. I allow the space to speak.”
Practice allowing silence after someone speaks.
Pause.
Breathe.
Remain receptive.
Notice what happens.
If words are appropriate, simple invitations include:
“Tell me more.”
“What else?”
“And?”
Or:
Silence.
Do not use silence to manipulate someone into revealing more.
Allow it to create genuine space.
Also spend at least 20 minutes alone without stimulation today.
No phone.
No content.
No music.
No podcast.
No conversation.
No task to accomplish.
Sit, lie down, walk, or spend time in nature.
Allow yourself to settle.
Then gently ask:
“What wants my attention?”
Do not force an answer.
Today's central inquiry:
“What becomes perceptible when I stop filling the space?”
During the evening reflection, explore:
What emerged through silence?
What did I notice in other people?
What did I notice within myself?
Did intuition or inspiration arise?
What happened when I became comfortable not knowing what to say?
What did silence allow me to feel?
Complete:
“In the space between thoughts and words, I noticed…”
DAY 7 — INTEGRATE
Soul-Led Presence
Today I bring the entire week together.
Morning statement:
“Today I meet myself, others, and life from the deepest place within me.”
Carry these six qualities into the day:
Awareness
Listening
Discernment
Depth
Sovereignty
Spaciousness
Practice through three kinds of encounters if possible:
Someone Close to Me
Release the assumption that I already know them.
Become curious about who they are today.
Someone Who Activates Me
Notice my reactions while remaining connected to myself.
Ask:
“Can I remain connected to my soul while allowing this person to be exactly where they are?”
The World
Spend some time simply observing life.
People.
Nature.
Movement.
Expression.
Beauty.
Energy.
Meaning.
Notice what captures my attention.
Ask:
“What is life showing me?”
Today's central inquiry:
“Who am I when I remain connected to my soul while meeting life?”
FINAL INTEGRATION
During the evening of Day 7, guide me through a slightly longer reflection across the entire week.
Help me explore:
What have I discovered about how I relate to others?
What have I discovered about how I relate to myself?
Where have I confused empathy with emotional absorption?
Where have I confused intuition with projection?
What happens when I listen without immediately responding?
What happens when I remain grounded within myself?
What have my emotions been showing me?
Has my intuition become clearer?
Has my imagination become more active?
Have I noticed more inspiration or insight?
When did I feel most connected to my soul?
When did I feel most deeply connected to another person?
What qualities of Character created those moments?
Then guide me into the final Character inquiry:
Who am I when I am deeply connected to my soul?
Help me describe this version of myself through direct experience rather than fantasy.
Explore:
How do I listen?
How do I speak?
How do I feel?
How do I respond?
How do I relate?
How do I create?
How do I love?
How do I remain sovereign?
How do I move through the world?
Finally, help me complete:
“When I am connected to my soul, I am…”
Help me refine this into a short, authentic statement describing the Character I want to consciously practice and embody moving forward.
Then provide a concise Week of Character Synthesis containing:
What I became aware of
What I am releasing
What I am strengthening
What reconnects me with my soul
The Character I am choosing to embody
Keep this synthesis grounded entirely in what I discovered through my own seven days of experience.
BEGIN
Keep track of which day I am completing within this conversation.
Do not give me all seven days at once.
Do not begin a new day until I explicitly tell you I am ready.
If I return tomorrow, continue from where we stopped.
For now, begin with:
Day 1 — Morning Tune-In: Become the Witness.
Briefly orient me to today's practice and then guide me through my morning tune-in one question at a time.
